We have received numerous comments from the public during the entire process of drafting the Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Appendix A (located above) includes comments from Phase 2 as well as the Public Hearing.
The Comprehensive Land Use Plan will then go to the Le Sueur County Board on Tuesday, February 17th 2026. The meeting is located at 88 S. Park Avenue, Le Center, MN 56057. To view the County Board of Commissioners agenda and packet for this meeting, please click on the following link: https://mn-lesueurcounty.civicplus.com/AgendaCenter. Please note during this meeting that the draft Plan is not considered final and can still be amended prior to County Board approval which will occur at a later date. Any amendments that are made are a result of comments received at the February 17th 2026 County Board Meeting.

No person shall erect, alter, or move any structures or part thereof without first securing a zoning permit, including but not limited to:
- All structure additions
- Authorized signs
- Basements
- Footings
- Liquid manure storage area
- Manufactured homes
- Repair of sewer systems
- Sewer systems
- Towers
